I've got a 97 360 Magnum in my 70 Dart with the A/C compressor and serpentine belt assy from the late model, the car has the factory A/C from 1970, I want to hook the late model compressor up to the early suitcase. I need to get a condenser/dryer and have the hoses made up. Will I have any trouble getting this done? Is there anything special I should know about... condenser, orifice, hose fittings, etc.? I intend to set it up and have a professional charge it up.
Thanks,
Doug

It will work great. I put the new Nippondeso compressor on my 440 motorhome, Idles smooth as silk, not like a V-2. Just use synthetic compressor oil and choose between R134@ and R-12. R-12 the best, but may be hard and expensive to find.

Cool, I was planning on using R134a. Will I have any trouble getting the hoses made up?

any car air con place will be able to make the hoses to suit in an hour or so . Thats if you are happy with hoses , not hard aluminium pipes , thats a little harder
