My son and I are looking for 6.4 hemi salvage. As I am sure alot of people are, but how does a average dude with no dealer license go about getting in to insurance auctions. I do not want to pay someone to bid and inspect what I am buying.

pretty much can't unless you know somebody, insurance auctions are for dealers or salvage yards only; they do that so you don't try and get a smashed car and fix it without knowing what your doing

There are ways to buy.

Insurance Auto Auction has a yard in OKC as well as other locations and there are items that are open to the public.

CoPart.... You need a broker or a business in Oklahoma. You can buy salvage in Kansas, Arkansas, Arizona and Texas without a broker so check out the link below.

The yard at the I-35 and I-44 west junction in OKC has changed hands but it was also open to the public when we were going there.

What are the restrictions here?

Some details is in post #3.

Check out the link I posted because the information for CoPart is there for every location they are in.

When I was actively buying in Oklahoma, Insurance Auto Auctions (link posted above) was better to deal with if they had what you wanted.
