new class starting up in my area and got 2 rolling chassis i need to use up and want to do it with mopar style so question is, tracks are from 3/8th to 1/2 mile dirt most with moderate banking! what would you build, how would you build it and why?? know its against rules but tech is sketchy at best, so roller cams and stroker cranks is viable options as most other will be cheating to. plenty of room for what ever headers and distributor and what not as well. so magnum? LA?? 89/90 LA rollercam???

If the driver claims Port Polish dry sump and roller, it is easy for Tech Inspector of said car makes weight.

In most cases the Tech Inspector can check these visibly, even the roller can be seen from oil returns in head.

If for some reason Tech Inspector is unable to see, the intake may have to be removed.

Well if you don't have to follow the rules...

340 +.060... W-2 heads w/8mm or 5/16" valves... GOOD springs... single plane intake... Jones cam (www.jonescams.com)... 12-1 compression on gas... RaceTec pistons... if you stroke it use a 3.79 Molnar crank/rods (get it as light as possible... Tom Molnar will not lighten it... it will weigh about 67 lbs)... MSD dizzy... Champ pan and pickup...

The chassis will be more important than the engine IMHO.... dirt or pavement?

dirt! chassis is a 2006 BWRC with '12 updates with a 1997 BWRC as a back up car on standerd afco blue shocks ,.. no light weight/ball spline trans or low inertia Q/C! more of a economy late model class since the crate class is spending as much on shocks and light weight as supers are on engines! the touring series has tech,..but my local track dont! first rules from local track!!
