I have a Husqvarna mower with a Briggs engine. Couldn’t hardly get it to start.

Bought a new carb of Amazon for $20. It came with a new air filter, fuel filter, and a spark plug.

Took me about an hour to replace all of it. Starts with one easy pull now.

I had no idea this stuff was so cheap! Seems like I paid that much for a spark plug and air filter awhile back.

Carb was no doubt Chinese, but looked just like the one I took off.

I've been using import small engine parts for a long time now. So far, I've not had an issue with them.......well lets just say I've not had an issue that I didn't cause myself. I've left ethanol fuel in and gummed some up, but I stopped running ethanol fuel, so I don't have that issue anymore. We have a BIG Ace Hardware that also has a large lawnmower service center. Prices for their carburetors start at about 90 and go on up.

Good to know! I put a shutoff valve in the fuel line between the tank and carb on my old as dirt Sears rider. I shut it off and let it run out of gas after every use now, even with non-ethanol gas. Not had a problem with gum up or line rot since!

That's a good idea!

Bought a chinese carb for my Briggs powered Craftsman power washer with the same results. Starts right up, no issue.

I had a Tecumseh engine on a snow blower and the ethanol killed the carb. They said when you take the carb off and shake it if doesn't rattle throw it away because you can't fix it. So I did buy one of those $20 carbs to fix it.

Put one of those on my weed whacker a few years back and worked great. I run ethanol free gas in all my small engines
