Hello, bought a set of Rebuilt LCA from a member because wanted the ones with sway bar tabs. Went to install and the pivot pins are to large to fit K Frame. Popped them out and they are a tab longer and larger in diameter. So trying to figure out if I have the wrong LCA or the right ones with the wrong pins. The arms look identical how do you tell the difference between A body and the rest?

Thanks
Dave

Try to zoom in on the photo. You wil see a VL / RF stamped on them & a VL / LF
VL means A body cars.

They’re different lengths for thr different body lines too, a pin to ball joint center measurement would help if you can’t find the stamping. The pins are different lengths and diameters too, they’re the same where they press into the bushing but different on the K side. So a length measurement on the pin could help too, although like you said you could also have mismatch between the pin and the control arm.

B & E body shafts are a larger diameter than "A" body ones.
If you do find out that you officially have a pair of A body LCA's, then somebody pressed in the wrong shafts, when they got rebuilt, or you got yourself a pair of B or E body LCA's.
No two ways about it, it's the only things it could be.
And FYI.
B & E body LCA's would be stamped with the letters RW or DP, to identify them.

A body Shaft on the top.
B & E body Shaft on the bottom.

Thanks for the help. I found the VL stamp so thinking they used the wrong pivot pins. Both sets of pins are marked M on them although the new ones did pop out of the bushing clean and didn’t even have the metal sleeve that normally comes out with it
