leaf spring center bolt top nub height/issue?

the round nub at the top of the leaf spring center bolt is just tall enough to fit the thickness of the perch. If I add a shim the perch will not be engaged. How do I get around this? thank you for your time. RR

Replace the center pin with a taller one from a local spring shop.

clamp the spring leafs securely before you replace that bugger!!! ESPO has longer nub bolts if you can't find then locally.

got it, thanks guys I will find a longer one & clamp the springs in 2 places before I unbolt. RR
