leaf spring u bolts

I have the passenger side leaf springs changed and it went very smoothly. Now, the driver side is not going to be that easiest because I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to cut the ubolts. before I go and do that, I want to locate some to fit my 65 valiant stock. I think I measured correctly, but if someone has the proper "book" dimensions I would appreciate it. 6 in in length, 2 1/2 between rods, 1/2 in rod u bend? so correct or close?

What rear, 7 1/4? You should be able to get them at your local Autozone, they are a shelf item. I picked up a set there a couple of years ago.

Yup, any local parts store should have some for you. I bought mine at O'Reilly's.
