I just bought a '72 Dart Swinger. The seller recently
had installed new leafs springs. My question is does one
stack have more leaves in it than the other? This is the
case with my '69 Charger........thick stack goes on the
passenger side.
Same same for these Dart springs?

It depends on what springs were installed. If they were MP SS springs, then yes.

That's my understanding as well.
I used Mopar Performance leaf springs on
my Charger and the same were installed
on my Dart just reversed side to side.

I just purchased new M.P.HD springs Does anyone have clear pictures of the right and left spring. Just want to make sure mine are correct Right/left.
Thank you !

odd #s left side, even #s right side is Mopar normal placement for any left and right part.

Thank you, was hoping for a picture because i'm not sure if mine are marked correctly. They slip right on when 09 is on right and 08 on left. But when reversed bolts don't seem to line up ?

IIRC, the part with the even number is right side, odd left.
As I said, If I remember correctly...
Visually though, they pretty easy to figure out, if they're not identical.
If they are performance springs like SS the short bottom segment faces forward on the right/passenger side. The short segment facing rearward goes on the left.
Also, either more leaves, or more arch would be right side.

To the other fellow with the Charge and Dart, I would think someone was mistaken as the right and left would remain the same for either.

You've been told correctly. The bolt holes won't line up because the weight is off the springs. You just have to play around with them......might involve a prybar.
