I have taken apart leaf springs and cleaned them up with a floppy disc, my question is do I spray something on the bare metal of the side of the spring that stacks on top of other springs or do I leave it bare and just paint the spring after all the spacers and shims are installed?
I have read that you should not paint both sides of each leaf spring
