I started my car today(jan.2) for a few minutes(20 +)...this I plan on doing a few times this winter.
Not long after I started it, I noticed something on the engine was leaking. I smelled it and it was gas, there is a plastic gas filter right before the carb. with spring clamps and this is where the gas was coming from. Is there something else I should do besides replace the filter with a metal one and screw clamps?...by the way it's a 600 cfm Hollie

Filter, clamps and the small sections of hose and it will be good as new.

and make sure the small sections of hose are the right diameter. They should fit as close as possible to the metal fuel line.
