I've got a 73 duster with power steering and it's leaking out of a fitting that is bolted to the front at the steering box. Is there an o-ring in there or something that I can do to keep the fluid from coating my engine bay? or sounding like a mid 80's fox body rustang... and don't say swap to manual.... :)

or if someone has an exploded diagram?

Is this the fitting you are talking about?

If so, there are two o-rings. Larger for the upper and smaller for the lower hole. If I recall, the existing were not O-rings. The cross-section was square.

Mine leaked also, so I replaced it with regular O-rings. It stopped the leaking. By the way, think it has a pretty low torque rating for those bolts. I don't have a FSM handy to look it up.

Hope this helps.

yep, That's the thing. I'll have to dig through the 'ol box of o-rings to see if I have the right ones.

Thanks
Matt
