This is uploaded in reverse order i think, im doing it from my phone sorry. It was pretty straight forward, had to use a puller to get the pinion out (big hammer method didnt work)
took the most amount of time cleaning this cover / mating surface & prepping the gasket. used some yellow glue stuff forgot the name. looked like mustard
guts / sprayed it out with cleaner / teeth looked fine . again lots of slop .
old seal / trusty pipe wrench to grab onto the yoke attachment points
Looked fine / whole assembly including the gears had a lot of slack and play though
used a large pipe wrench / breaker bar to remove this. (1 -1/8 socket)
