LED lights for dashboard 1973 Dart Swinger

I was reading some older posts about led lights and read good things about the Sylvania 168/194/2825 leds. When I looked up the lights for the 73 Dart on Chiltons, it lists the instrument cluster lights as 158's. Will these not work or does anyone know of a better replacement led for the 158's?

158 is the short-life predecessor to the long-life 194.

Trinket vendors like SuperBrightLeds have been around for years. Nothing wrong with playing with their toys for inside the car if you want to, but no need because there are finally(!) some legitimate and good-quality LED retrofits: these (2-pack) and these (1-pack). Or if you want amber lighting for your dashboard, use these. For your oil pressure warning light (red) use this one.

Don't use SuperBrightLeds' stuff in any of the car's exterior (safety) lights unless you're trying to get hit in traffic. Detailed discussion of the matter here.
