Got it from my grandpa who bought it new in '73. It was previously repainted once in 1980 and had the 225 replaced since it had a cracked block. Painted it in high school, 318 swapped it my freshman year of college, and 340 swapped it my sophomore year. 3 speed to 4 speed swapped it this past summer. It's been an ongoing project of mine for the past 5 years or so. She's got about 300,000 miles on her so far, and plenty left to go. Luckily it's never had to sit outside uncovered and was in great shape when I started working on it.

It's safe to say that it's come a long way since I was 17!

What color/paint code did you paint it? B5? I drool every time I see that car!!
