Lights out!

Hey everyone. Trying to sort out some wiring issues on the 66 cuda I just bought. When i put the parking lights on all the lights work( except for the headlights of course). When i put the headlights on everything goes out and no headlights:wack: Any help will be appreciated.

I know this is really simple and you have probably already tried it, but my car was doing the same. Battery was almost dead...

Might be the same thing, might not.

I'd suspect the headlight switch is faulty.

And add a ground from dash.

Update. headlight switch was bad, dimmer switch was bad, power wire was missing from harness to the headlight switch and the ground wire was broken at the headlight switch. Took me all afternoon to figure it out but all is well now.
