I tried to post these yesterday but my computer decided it wouldn't, but it's more cooperative now, so let's try again.

I made it out to the local Mopar clubs car annual car show this past weekend, I used to go every year when I was on the board for the club, but since I haven't any any mopars for a few years, I haven't made it out as regularly. Even though I didn't have the Valiant running yet I managed to make it this year and was glad I did. Attendance was down by about half, not sure what to blame it on, fuel prices or the 'Nats being the same weekend. It was still a great show and got to see lots of old friends and my old Dart too.

Enjoy!

More to come!

This car belongs to my friend John, he just got a loaded '74 318 3-speed Sunroof Duster that was a factory export car, spent quite a few years in Germany. Can't wait to see it next month!

My dad knows the original owner of this Superbird and nearly traded his '68 428 Mustang for it in the early/mid seventies, my dad didn't think the 'bire was worth another $200 that the guy wanted, so he passed. He later crashed the mustang. I'm friends with the guy who ownes the 'bird now, he's the 2nd (maybe 3rd) owner.

Still more!

Great pics, thanks for sharing
Looked like a great day with lots of nice Mopars

This car belongs to a good friend and her husband, good people, totally unrestored '71 'Cuda Convertible, it's a 383 3-speed of which only 8 were ever made, chances are with it being orange, it's 1 of 1. They also have every other year 'Cuda convertible (except '69), a '68 383 Formula S and a Hemi GTX that's kept very hush hush. It must've been nice to have some money in the early eighties.

This is my old Dart Convertible, it was my daily driver for about a year, I traded this car for a Coronet I had and sold back in 2002, I miss it a lot, I'm friends with the current owners, it's in good hands.

...and this was my favorite car at the show, sitting by itself in the parking lot, under restoration....'67 GTX. It just seems so much more "real" than every pristine show car, this car is living, has lived, and has the scars to prove it; hasn't yet been put out to pasture only to be brought out on rare occasions...for me, this car is what it's all about, using these cars for what they were built for, having fun.

Thanks for reminding me, I thought that show had already happened, might try and make it this year.

Sorry for so many pics guys, while my good camera was stolen I went and got a bigger memory card for my crappy one, went from being able to take 16 pics to a little over 1000.

Thanks Useless ... Didn't get anyone at that number ... Are there any hotels around the track ... Thanks

Nice! Any more pics of the light gold/yellow Demon with the green interior?

One of the few that I don't have any more pics of. The car was actually tan....I wouldn't have the heart to spend good money on that nice of a paint job if the color was going to be tan...to each his own I guess.

No idea on any hotels hemiGTS, I'd google that address, I'm sure you can find some hotels that way.

The red 69 Dart with Cragars is my favorite!
Man, that thing is freakin COOL!

Thanks for the pix.
