It can depend on the year & if Motor Wheel or Kelsey Hayes.

Typical places to check;

Near the valve stem.

In the lug area of the wheel center.

In the outside hoop with the tire removed.

My steel 67 14x5.5 it is inside by valve stem IIRC

My road wheels from a 1970 Hemi Cuda were also on the inside rim near the valve stem.
