Lokar transmission dipstick - 727

G'day all

Just got my new transmission installed and am about to put in a new Lokar dipstick but it doesn't look right.

The end of the dipstick with the high and low markings doesn't project out of the receptacle piece (per the attached photo).

Is this right?

..............I know all the factory 1s do, so I would think it should to....have u checked it against ur factory stick....I haven't used a lokar yet.....kim..

i got a locking one from a&a transmissions.nice as you can use the stock tube
