Long shaft 727 question.

I picked up a 360 with a 727 out of a motorhome. The 727 has the long tailshaft. Will this be a problem dropping this into my 74 Scamp or should I look for a short tailshaft?

I'm only aware of two 727 output lengths. Regular with a slip yoke which could be considered long compared to a 904, and short with either a hog nose or no extension housing at all. I'd say you have the right one.

Cars and standard duty trucks use the long shaft trans. The short tailshaft trans. is only for HD applications so you have the right one.
