I've been a Mopar guy since I was a kid, grew up watching S & M in pro stock, Richard Petty, etc. And even though I really liked the A and E bodies, B bodies were my favorites; my first car was a '69 Charger R/T, SE. Owned it for twelve years until I sold it in 1990 while waiting for my first son to be born. Man I wish I had that car now! But over the last few years, because of the price of B bodies and at the same time discovering the power-to-weight ratio of a V8 A body, I changed my tune and started looking at darts. I'm partial to the '67-'69 dart, although I also think the 70's darts and demon/dusters are really cool looking too. Back in HS/college my younger bro drove a '64 dart with a /6 and a 4 spd. hurst on the floor with bench seats. That car was fun to drive, and beat a few 289 mustangs along the way.

So after a year and a half of looking (and losing a couple of bids on e-bay) I finally got my dart! It's got a 360 MP crate motor with a tremec 5 spd and a 8.75 sure-grip with 3.55's. it handles like a stagecoach but man, is it fun to drive! After 20+ years of no muscle car in the house, I'm back in the game and loving it!

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a nice car you picked up. When you get settled on the site, we love pics:D.

I know it's not worth anything unless there's pics. Here's my first attempt.

The guy who built the car (two owners ago) did a real nice job. It's man steering and brakes, but the car stops on a dime. He put in a front disc conversion. The car originally was a /6 auto with drums all around.

Seats and headliner were redone; not stock but in the Sac summer heat, cloth is better than vinyl. Dash is stock but in good shape. Had to tighten down the rear view mirror, got great advice from FABO posts. The radio was installed hooked up to BATT; I need to rewire because I killed the battery the first week I had the car.

Man, that thing is clean - looks like you picked yourself up a winner!

Thanks, yeah I've been looking for a awhile, almost caught a '69 convertible dart this past spring but I'm real happy with this one. Bought it off a guy in Concord, Ca, drove it 80 miles back to Lincoln and averaged 17.5 mpg! It cruises at 2K rpm at 65. Of course I get about 1/2 that around town; impossible to stay off it.

Welcome to the board. That's a really nice looking car. It also looks like you have a hydraulic clutch setup on there.

Nice ride! Out in Vacaville probably see you at some shows, if I ever get my damn car finished!

Welcome fellow Dart owner! this is a great place for information and conversation among like minded friends. hope you enjoy it here.

I too started with a b body 67 gtx and when opportunity came knocking I bought a dart! Beautiful car & great pics! Welcome to fabo!

Actually, this winter i'll be working on the steering and suspension. There's a lot of play in the steering wheel that I want to tighten up. Also add SFCs and a pinion snubber.

I plan on going to the Mopar Alley car show in Fremont next summer, been there the last two years as a spectator only. This Friday is the last cruise night of the summer in old town Auburn, so I'll be up there tomorrow.
