ok..i have also decided to consider buying new 15" cragars....
but idk what bs i would need...
i would want 15x7's in the front
15x8's in the back..

the rear axle is from an old b-body,so is 1/2" longer on each side, so take this into account..

what size backspacing should i get with these...what woul be my safe ranges

i'm able to get ahold of 15x7's with 4.125" bs...
and 15x8's with 4.25" backspacing..will these fit without rubbing or lip rolling?

You will more than likely need more BS than that. Do you still have your stock rims. If so and they fit under the car as is add the difference in the width to the back of the whell and then add about another 1/2". That should put you right on the money.

I agree with BJS that you will need more backspacing.

Are you sure about the rear end only being 1/2" wider per side. The info I have shows a '65 -'67 b-body (the narrowest standard flange b-body)@ 59 1/2" drum to drum and an a-body @ 57 1/8" drum to drum. Which is a difference of 2 3/8" total or 1 3/16" each side.

You should double check the width...If I remember correctly the perches themselves have a difference of 1/2 inch each side between b and a bodies and not the complete assy.
