Look what finally showed up yesterday!

Inching closer to a complete engine. The lack of funds makes this a slow process, but all I have left to buy is a fuel pump, distributor, wires, a belt, motor mounts, and maybe little odds and ends. Being that the HP exceeds the 1968 Hemi, I painted it Hemi orange. And I don't feel guilty one bit.

Bear in mind that the alternator mounting is a work in progress. There's a separate thread on that elsewhere in the forum...
 
A fuel pump away from complete. Those old Commando valve covers have a lot of time into them. I didn't realize how rare/expensive they are these days. Mine were pretty beat up, but when I saw the prices on old Commando valve covers, I decided to restore them.
