Are there any common issues with these cars? What kind of MPG can I expect with the Hemi? Owner states only 50,000 miles. I haven't drove it yet, due to distance from me, but will soon. Thanks!! Sorry I put 2007, its a 2006! Can you tell I've looked at a few?
 
That was the first year for the cars. Im unsure about MPGs probably between 16-18. The LX cars are bad about tie rods.
 

I have a 2006 Daytona with the 5.7 Hemi. As previously stated they seem to have alignment issues but it is a simple fix. I love my car, it is my daily driver and I plenty fast, handles great for 4000 plus pounds, and stops good too. To be honest, having a four door I handy and when you are driving it you will forget it has four doors. I have every option plus the SRT hood. My only complaint is the car is filled with electronics and sensors. Also check for the hemi tick, not sure the 6.1 has it but it is a problem in 5.7's.

Can't you just buy better tie rod's? Who put's the same stuff on that failed in the first place?
 
Thanks 340wedge and 64DartGT, that's what I'm looking for is members who have these as daily drivers. I will check out the lx forum also.
