Well long story short had a friend back out on selling me his TTi big block headers - SO I need to buy headers by tomorrow night to get any further on my car, looking at Doug's short deck big block B body headers (link below)

These or Summit's as they're the same as Hedman's but with a 5/16" flange instead of the actual Hedman's 1/4"

Schumacker, and TTi's brand new are not affordable

I went almost this same exact route, and got burned. I measured and measured, but when sucked up, they hit the steering box. Don't cut corners, your going to buy the TTI's anyway.

From what I've read over on bigblockdart.com is all the headers need pounding EXCEPT TTi's..

Do you have power steering? I do not.. I just watched the Crop Duster Roadkill episode and they basically wrecked a pair of TTi's trying to fit them in a P/S car..

I also have big block isolators, which are 3/4" taller than the Schumacher/Trans-Dapt small block isolators

I also have Hedman B body headers that are pretty beat up - I will be defaulting with a new pair of those
