Looking for a 68 Barracuda Project car

Prefer decent shape, do not want to butcher a # matching SS 383 or S Formula car. Prefer 273 2b /6 or 318 car. Want to build it into a big block clone.

I talked with guy trying to sell a 1968 fastback body shell, I saw add on www.racingjunk.com under drag racing, stock/super stock cars (I think) . Any way he had stripped car down to being a bare body shell to build a Hemi SS car, but he had changed his plans. He is located in Hagerstown, MD and think he wanted $1200-1500 range for what he had. Car came with all of the glass, doors, trunk, body shell but needed a front clip.

I dont know where you are and its a 67 but it looks like a good start. Keep searching "craigslist 68 Barracuda" on Google. Good luck and show us what you find...

I have a 68 notchback, original 318 car gray with maroon guts, I could let go for 800. 00 Its missing a lot of trim and interior parts. For an additinal 400 we could drive an hour and buy a donor car that provides very nice grilles, etc..,
Which would put you at appox.70% of a complete car. Bones of the donor will bring 200 + at the crusher too.
Just a thought. You have to decide first notch or fastback and how much you want to spend.
