Looking for an 4 speed OD unit for an A Body near northern IL.

I'd sell you the O/D trans in my 66 Cuda for $800.
Cast Iron small bearing Main case, all new bearings, bushings, small 26 spline Aluminum tailshaft, aluminum side cover, new countershaft. It is nice, tight, shifts and runs smooth.
I also have a nice O/D A body Hurst shifter complete with mounting plate, O/D ball, and all linkage. $400
Assuming you can use your bell housing, clutch linkage, flywheel, drive shaft, pressure plate, and clutch.
