Looking for a lift!!!

-
i've been looking at getting a lift also. how much cieling to floor room do you need for a 4 post or a 2 post? my garage has a 9ft ceiling.

I have a 9' celing with my 4 post, and I can put my 68 dart and barely get my neon under it, but it fits. I had to extend the garage door track and put on a larger radius on it. I also had to remove the garage door opener (waiting for a jack post side mount opener). PS, if you buy a lift, the 220 V over 110 V is significant in speed in lifting. Andrew

All my life I have worked with rotary 2 post lifts and I wouldn't use anything else. They work great, they are stable as long as you know what you're doing while lifting and if you need a 4-post lift, rotary makes auxilary jack units that tie into the lift's hydraulic system for the front and rear of the car. Win win!

we have a 2 post rotary, and also this scissor lift.
i like that we can move the scissor lift anywhere we need, even to the other shop, or outside

mostly use it for doing body work, right now for swapping rear axles.
