Looking for a locksmith who re-keys locks

-
Any lock smith can do it. Nothing special about Mopar locks except the key blank and keyway.

IMHO if there are locksmiths at Carlisle doing rekeys they know what they are doing.

BUT ...

If you have a problem they are not local to you, so you will have to mail things.

Does the console cylinder have a foot on it?

Or is it round without the "foot".

Somewhat off topic, but do you know of a place to purchase tumbler pins for these old Chrysler locks?
I buy from a Locksmith supplier. You have to be bonded, and there is a credential process you have to go thru to buy from them.
They're the most consistent and reliable. However, this stuff is getting old and even they have trouble getting stuff.
I've also had luck finding old lock build kits at swap meets. Hershey swap is the best for that kind of stuff.
Ebay has also been a decent, albeit spotty, source as well.
Also, I've been known to stop at old locksmith shops, and ask what obsolescence they might be willing to come off of.
I've bought most of my NOS hard to find keys and a stash of 62-65 Mopar door locks that way.

Are you trying to get a key made or rekey what you have?

I was missing the keys to our 69 barracuda, so I just popped the door lock out and he made a key for it (which is identical to the ign) now I just have to make a key for.the trunk.

Point being any good locksmith should be able to do it.

Are pin diameters pretty universal? Could one simply buy some rod stock and cut them to the appropriate lengths?

A-1 Raiche locksmith.
Kankakee IL. They've done several for me.
They're only about 4 miles away from me
