Looking for a manual valve body for A-518 non lockup trans

I have a 440/A-518 in my Duster. My trans rebuilder was unable to get a manual valvebody for it. I have searched in vain also. Does anyone know where I can get one? I'm looking for a reputable source not a shade tree rebuilder.
 
I called SMR. They said they sell a 727 reverse manual valve body that's been modified to work in an A-518. It's $775 with no core charge. Also they said it will take three to four months for delivery from time of order to get it. Have you guys bought products from them? I don't want to send that kind of money without knowing anything about them.
 
check out transgo, I believe the TFOD-3 will make it a full manual. its $116 on summit racing, TRG-TFOD-3 is summits part number.
