You might have to ask the wizards in the slant six section about that one. I'm pretty sure they were painted blue in 1971 though.

My friend has a Mopar junkyard here in NY.
Where, if I may ask? The yards around here are all new stuff, and no more "It's up over that way, just past the crane on the left, I think it's yellow. Lemme know the number on the windshield when you come back so I can mark it down."

Thanks,

– Eric

I'm looking for a 1971 slant 6 225, complete and running in the past if possible; ideally with an auto trans on the column, but not totally necessary. I live in NewYork, so hopefully it would be within driving distance. Thanks for reading.
Have a 1970 225 ci complete with 904 trans out of a Duster. The mileage on the car which is believed to be original is 80,014. Ran when car parked in garage back in 04 & sat until pulled out last spring. $500 takes it all.

For the engine and tranny, NOT the car

Oh, I didn't know that. I'm just wondering if it's eastern or western Rhode Island.

it's all about being correct. I don't assemble frankensteins. If I wanted that I would have left the non-original or correct 1974 engine that was in it when I bought it. If it was a four door swinger or something like that then it wouldn't matter much, but it's a real FC7 Demon that's worth saving and making correct again.
