If you want some real vintage class, the battery boxes out of the old A100 trucks and vans are really Chrysler over-engineered. All metal, thicker than the NHRA requires, good hold down design, vented, latching lids, and they even have a cover that screws to the floor to protect the cable where it passes through .

Geez Cracked, that is a piece or art. Much nicer than what I had in mind. I'll run over to anaheim wire this weekend if I can. Though I also dig the A-100 idea, if I can's find a batery box out of one. I'll start making one. Thanks guys!
