reminds me back in the 90's people would call me looking for lets say, a 69 roadrunner, ( gotta be a 4 speed) they need a pretty rust free pretty straight body, needs to run decent, but don't want to pay for a rebuild, paint can be old BUT needs to be decent, ( no green cars) needs interior that is all there, decent seats, upholstery can show some wear but NO rips, tires can be old but good enough to drive it home! and they want it for around $1000....ha, even back then... all those types had pretty much all been fond!!
back to your question. my advice is find as complete and solid car as you can. if you cannot do bodywork, find one that someone else has done the work and theirs is priced in your budget! FABO is the best place to look. forget CL and feebay!! good luck.
