Thought I'd mention. If you want it to sit in the trunk recess and have the cardboard and trunk mat sit flat, you need to find a 14x4 rim. I have a 4.5 inch wide rim for a spare and it is to wide.

I am not aware of a 14"x4" wide wheel being made for our spb Mopars.

14"x4 1/2" and 14"x5 1/2" is all I have seen on factory wheels.

Well I look and see. I'm pretty sure it was 4" I had but I'll double check when I get home and look in my semi trailers.

The spare for a 71 Dart is a 14"x4.5" wheel. The tire was a D78-14 which equates to 25.5" or a 195/75-14.

If you are having a tough time fitting your spare,your using to big a tire.

this is a 5.5...the area with the yellow mark is about an inch wider than on a 4.5.

you can see the difference in this 5.5 and the 4.5 mopargod posted above.the 4.5 makes a better spare,but it really all boils down to tire size.

This would be a 7" wheel.

that is correct - inside lip to inside lip. most think it is the outside of hoop to outside of hoop.

Picked up one rim but it is the wrong bolt pattern does anyone know the measurements of a sbp and a big bolt pattern. My swinger seems to have a 4" bolt pattern the rim I picked up has a 4.5". The first Picture is the Rim on my swinger the rest are the rim I picked up.

Thanks now I see I did pickup a 4.5 rim but bolt pattern is wrong.
