Just make a template and low pressure sandblast.

I have a friend that does glass engraving on one of his two lasers he owns. If the other guy doesn't work out contact me and I'll put you in touch with him.

I've seen it done with acid etching, pretty easy. Hardest part is the template.

That where a CNC laser shines. You don't need a template, just the image you want to use imported into a CAD file. Matthew has done alot of stem ware and glasses for

weddings and other events.
