In 1970 I bought a used Barracuda that I would like to find now, just to see where it is and to give the present owner the sales agreement I have for it. It was a 68 convertible, 4spd, Formula S. VIN: BH27P8B281045. Registration info didn't take me anywhere but when I traded it in 1972, the dealer had it sold when I dropped it off, said he sold it to a collector and most collectors don't register them for the road. Some research told me there are but 13 of this configuration left know in existence, 4spd or automatic. I also struck a snag on the vin with the letter P, if i remember right as it wasn't listed. Back when I had it I was told the S package with a 4spd came through with a different cam, 3/4 race is what we called them back then. Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, yes I am still kicking myself.

WOW, yeah, 4 years and nobody even commented?????
That is a rare one, i don't know off the top of my head how many were built.
Yes in '68 the 340 4spd got a lumpier cam that the auto....
