Ok this thread is for those that I've boxed back up and put on the shelf because they stopped being fun. Since I don't have the paint for.the bridge set right now I'm working on those long lost projects this thread will be a few different projects as I mess with them. To start this thread off the thunder bat

Joey would have to buy a new hard drive for the server if I started a thread on all of my back burner model projects.

cool

i remember several years ago (probably a decade or more, now) where you could pic up the nascar kits for about 5 bucks
i never cared for nascar, so i turned one into a lowrider, that was a fun project

so what all do they need?

YY1 haha I have about 5 .diy I liked nascar back then. The old kits I find are a pain in the *** . So much fiddly roll cage the fit sucks. Warped parts. I don't think I will build another. I do have one more I may end up just collecting it lol

oooh. I am not familiar with that Jeep kit.

Progress with the jeep and Dorothy the jeep kit is really a simple low detail kit. It dose go together OK my body is warped Abit I got it twisted (pun intended) back the best I can lol

I'm old enough that I should be able to remember Jeep trucks, but I don't. This one was moved into our hangar not long ago and I was really surprised to learn that Jeep made them. Since you're building a model of one I thought I'd post it here for inspiration.

Im almost to a stopping point on Dorothy. I have to look though my parts boxes to find the little details on her. It's not going to match fully but I can get close. To what's in the movie

Little bit of progress. Very little detail under the hood for this kit. Since I picked out the detail the best way I could.

Did I miss what movie that was from?

Who made the kit?

That's what I was thinking with that contraption in the bed, but I thought the twister truck was a 90's ram.

Started out with the Jeep (Helen Hunt's truck). After it got sucked up by a tornado they switched to Bill Paxton's '95 Ram.
