I just removed the lower control arm bushing shell for a 72 dart. I read many people weld a washer to the top of the bushing and press it out from the other side. I used a 1 3/8 by 12 tap and tap the bushing about 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch in. Then I heated the o.d. of the sleeve a little and pressed the bushing out from the other side by pushing on the end of the tap. Hope this help for those of you without a welder or the specialty tools. This method worked very well had the shell out in ten minutes.
