Hi Forum Guys,
As I was disassembling my 68 Dart GT I noticed that the right door bottom hinge looks to be in the correct position - the little "kick out" wheels/gears are on the top side of this hinge. When I took off the left door ( drivers) the lower hinge looks to be upside down - the little "kick out" wheels/gears are on the bottom of the hinge......
Is that the way these hinges bolt up? Apparently neither door has been off this car before as when I took each off there was bare metal on the door shell under where each hinge bolts up... found it strange that there would not be any primer or paint from the factory where the hinges ( top & bottom) bolt to the door shells.
Have any of you seen this before?
I'll be posting pictures shortly after my freakin camera charges up !
