Lower moog ball jt 64 cuda 4 drum left side

is it the same as a 72 duster with drum if so i have a kit from pst and did not use certian parts is so i can help you out.
 
hey Arco440 , I am running into frustration. Advance Auto (Ohio) is saying Moog K785 for the right and K784 for the left, with no luck on the left. On the one link Oklacarcollecto has (above) their compatability checker says K787 will not fit the 64 barracuda base. remember I have 4 drum. I will try to find out if they are the same. mancini racing (mopar supply says TRW / Moog K787 fits 64 cuda drum...go figure!

Don't trust the eBay compatability checker. If you trust that one it says K787 only goes back to 1968 and it goes much further than that. I pulled the K787 number off the http://chucker54.sback tores.yahoo.net/bajodubo.html site and verified it at Oreilly Auto Parts.

I can only post what I find so what I would do is to post a thread asking what ball joint members are using on their 1964 Barracuda drum brake cars.
 
Thanks Oklacarcollecto, what I think I will do is phone mancini racing site and talk to them, and order all what they have in moog for the front of that car, I will find out what their return policy is if something don't fit. I even need the strut to K member rubber, the torsion bar seals look good,& while it is apart I am going to do all the bushings and upper balls.
 
Hey Gary bet you cannot find a k784 they don't list them in my moog book for 1970 & prior years catalog.
your car needs k 785 & k 787 or if you have sbp disc k 7021 & k 7023. Lawrence

That K784 is an odd number. All the lower ball joints I have seen for our cars all end in odd numbers and the upper ball joints end in even numbers. The K704 is the upper ball joint for the stock 72 back A bodies.
 
I went ahead and ordered the total rebuild kit from Mancini racing I believe it was $685.00. By the time one buys it all separate its more.plus ..no tax. You get everything right down to the cam bolts and bumpers.
