M! Intake

I am considering a MI Single plane intake for my new 416 engine.But from the looks of them they are going to be too tall to clear the stock hood.Is there anyone using this intake in a 67 - 69 Dart,If so are you experiencing hood clearance problems with a air cleaner on . Any help on this will greatly be appreciated.I already have the LD340 iintake to use but really like the looks of the M1. But I do not want to remove the original hood or modify the hood in any way.
