just ran my finger over the fins--- none of them are cracked or broken, the black finish is flaking badly & these units need a bath or a bead blast. The bottom lip around both covers appears fine. The castings are good for a used set-- with tlc they could be very nice units.

That's a fair price. We paid about twice as much for the used M/Ts that came in primer. It might be a lot of work, but they should clean up really nice. If I was in the market for another set, I'd jump on them myself. The ones I bought are pictured below (before and after).
