M1 intake height?

Oh right, the intake tube!

They are all absurdly priced. Unfortunately everyone that has one seems to think it's the most amazing upgrade and they want big bucks for them.

I really don't get it, because they're not a great intake for a stock Magnum engine. Without a tune and valve springs it's kind of worse than the kegger, especially in a heavy truck. Most of the extra joy from the M1 comes in above 4000 rpm, and they really shine the higher you go (highest I have gone is 6200 - by mistake!). The stock Magnum PCM has a rev limiter of 5200, and the valve springs won't support anything above the rev limiter.
Right, they work well for applications that can support the added flow. Thankfully I’ve upgraded the valve springs in this engine when I swapped the cam

I agree. The M1 two barrel single plane was intended for Magnum equipped vehicles going racing that wanted to keep the EFI and still mount air conditioning. The kegger usually beats everything down low when naturally aspirated.

Yeah, for sure. My experience is that below 3000 rpm the kegger is better, from 3000 - 4000 they're about the same, and from 4000 and higher the M1 is way better.
