Magnum engine's got a tapping sound....

Since one side is quiet and one is noisy there sure seems to be a problem there. Is the drivers side oiling? Did this just happen at once or has it always done it since you've had the engine?

Have you checked for cracked rockers? Not a common thing but just a thought. And does the tick get faster with rpm's?

do you got a Manuel fuel pump or electric pump if a manuel pump the arm could cause the tickin

I have a manual fuel pump, but its had two pumps on it (one was leaky) and is still ticking. Both sides are oiling fine, and there's no evidence of cracked rockers, I believe.

And now I have a significant misfire at about 1500RPM.

how would that help? I have a sound byte of the engine, but it's not that good.
