Main bearing dowels.

Have any of you super awesome guys machined a block and caps to accept hollow dowels? (As much as I hate to compare) Like the LS engine has? Thanks

I would expect the interference fit block registers to be as good, or better. I suppose it could be done but, don't believe I have ever heard of doing so, even for aluminum caps.
