When I bought a custom ‘69 Barracuda in 2004 with 14x7 Indy aluminum slot mags it still had 2 of the caps. Both are old and look to be modified by the factory to fit 4” lugs.

I bought a set of repops and modified them to emulate the old ones. The material at the tabs is a little thicker which is probably a good thing. The white sticker was a bummer (looked like foil online, but the car is white so it works for now).

The caps turned out pretty nice and it is great to have them back on the car. Though the old caps had evidence of forcing a lug wrench in there and were cracked, I’ll be taking the caps off before touching the lug nuts.

i generally leave mine off, since i cant get at the lugnuts with them on, like you mentioned

I had to get some caps on the wheels. They needed it. You be the judge on what looks better. Anyone else thinking they need some caps for their aluminum slots?
