manual box question

Im going to change mine over to manual within the next few weeks. The box I have , the nut /with the flat head screw ( I assume this some sort of adjuster ) was broke lose.
So....is there a certain adjustment for this ?
What type of grease should I put in the box ?

you need a haynes manual or something similar for the clearance specs,but i use lucas oil in mine for oil,and it steers like powersteering

thats the worm gear adjustment i believe. you loosen the locknut and tighten the screw till theres no play in the steering box and retighten the locknut. dont overtighten or the worm will wear faster.
