The standard ratio for car manual steering chucks is 24 to 1. There were some 16 to one units sold through dealers in the mid 60s. The parts to convert any box to 20 to one also were "over the counter" options.
Be aware that a slant six chuck differs from a V8 version. The V8s had bearings inside, the Slanties had bushings.
