Manual steering conversion

-
get a manual steering box,the correct pitman arm & a man - power adapter

Buy a manual box and a junk manual steering column and swap out the inner shaft.

That's how I did it. Bought a junk column for $15, removed the inner shaft, and whala. No expensive adapter needed. The inner shaft is approx. 3" longer than the power unit. If you do decide, make sure the shear pins are still intact on the inner shaft. They are in there in case of an accident allowing the inner shaft to collapse instead if the wheel going into your chest.

I put the power inner shaft back into the column I bought and sold it for more $ than I bought it for. What comes around, goes around.
