Hi, I'm new to the forums, I'm a 17 year old looking for an early 70's Dodge Dart and have found a few in my area that i can buy. Problem is I really am dead set on learning and driving a stick for my first car, and none of these Darts in my area are manual to my knowledge. Since I'm still in high school, I don't have a lot, but I've saved up a budget of about $4200. So I'm curious, how much would it cost to switch the automatic transmission with the 3-speed, or potentially 4 speed, manual. Is it even worth my time to try the switch, or should I just keep looking for a manual? Thanks in advance.

They did make manual trans Dart, but there not exactly falling out of trees type of popular cars. Keep saving, keep looking. Just wait, dont rush.
