I've been modifying another '65 Dart for the track only. In order to get the trans blanket, fluid lines and my hands around the 904, I've cut out the tranny hump and fabricated a more spacious box. Everything works great except that the brake pedal interfers with my foot on the relocated gas pedal. Tried bending the pedal, grafting another pedal arm but nothing seems to fit the bill. I saw a picture of a SS/AH car relocating the MC into the drivers area but never saw the details. My 1 7/8 fenderwell headers also complicate brake issues. Any suggestions?
